Blog Vs. Wiki

     Blog is a site that is usually managed by individuals and where new articles are posted on irregular time. Posts on blogs are usually arranged in reverse order, from new to old, according to the the time they were posted. Many blogs focus on providing commentary or news on specific topics, while others are used as more personal diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, links to other websites and other social medias, such as Facebook, twitter. Allowing readers to leave comments in an interactive manner is an important element of many blogs, at the same time, self- published topics and blogs are widely promoted. Wikipedia: Does it have enough credibility?

    I chose to do my project on Wikipedia: Does it have enough credibility? I believe this is a very controversial topic, some people think that credibility is very high because there have detailed explanations and analyses, people are able to find some useful information from there, but some people think that it's not credible because Wikipedia is a free access website that anyone can modify the materials. I intend to cover both of these aspects, I would like to discuss this topic with real-life examples, research, and people's perspectives. I'll give some examples of the strengths and weaknesses of Wikipedia. It has the advantage of helping people to solve difficult problems and see the different understandings of terms from different countries in the world. And Wikipedia's policy requires listing sources, making them verifiable, and using relatively reliable sources.
