We live in the age of the Internet, and I think social media is probably the best tool for creativity in this age. Social media allows you to access people who behave and think differently. Use it wisely to encourage people to get out of their field and actively focus on people with whom you disagree. This will make you think differently and think differently. For example, you can browse and read different information on twitter, which makes you think in many ways and improves your creativity. The more diverse a person's social network, the more likely that person is to innovate. One study found that having more diversity on Twitter connections means you're more likely to have good ideas in the workplace.
